Bad, Bad Blooger!

I have been a bad blogger. A wonderful young lady at http://goddessof4.blogspot.com gave me the blog award pictured above. It's an awesome award. I was supposed to pass it forward to deserving blogs that have small followings. I have discovered that all of the blogs that I follow have huge followings.

Why do they have huge followings? Well, they post pictures (real pictures - not graphics), they post just about everyday (like I used to), they are informative (house restoration blogs are my favorite), they talk about their families, they go interesting places (I'm not a traveler, unfortunately), and they are SWELL PEOPLE! All of them. So, what's a girl (in this case a retired old ladyt) to do?

Well, I would like anyone that is still reading this sad little blog to go visit the Goddess. If the link is incorrect, then email me or comment on this post and I will give you the correct link. She is fabulous, and you will definitely enjoy your visit to her spot.

I will go back and copy the directions to the conditions of this award and edit them into this post in a p.s.

A Meme And An Award!........

My friend Carol, at http://charliandme.blogspot.com/ has posted a meme and an award! This seems like a great way to get to know one another a little bit better and it sounds like it will be fun to do. I am very happy to get such a great award. Comments can be a challenge because sometimes you want to say something and you look and there it is -- someone beat you to those words! Or you have help from gremlins when you leave a comment and don't see that they've helped you until you hit the button.... they've typed things like ktchen instead of kitchen or acme instead of came.... cheeky little things! LOL

Like my friend Carol said, "I feel like we have all become a great group of blogger pen pals in a sense and communication is the key. Well, I've been singing since I was about 4 years old. I have sang all kinds of songs, and I don't think there IS anything that I'm embarrassed to sing! What a quandary... Of course, now that I'm "older" I don't quite sound like I used to in my younger days, so I don't sing in front of too many people anymore!
